Maximum Overdrive (1986)

This directorial debut from Stephen King is a grisly, blood-spattered gross out where a passing comet has an unusual effect on inanimate objects, and assorted items of machinery take on a vicious temperament and attack people.

See an electric knife slice up a waitress, watch heavy trucks run down their victims, observe chain saws and lawn mowers on the rampage.
