The Wild Angels (1966)
Bruce Dern rides with sulky nihilist Peter Fonda's Nazi-loving
degenerate scum who only want to ride their machines without being
hassled by The Man, be free to do what they wanna do, get loaded
and have a good time.
All well and good, but this means that when Bruce gets shot
after rumbling with some Mexicans, his buddies think it would be a
gas to bust him out of hospital, with the result that he dies.
From here on in it gets worse for Brucie as his pals drag his
lifeless carcass into a small-town church, prop him up with a
joint in his dead mouth, and have a wild satanic orgy in his
honour, making a special point of assaulting his wife, Diane Ladd,
in front of his corpse.
