The Clones

The Clones were a very popular Powerpop outfit in Sydney, Australia in the late 70's/early 80's but only ever released one (albeit superb) single - Tired Of Hiding b/w Happy I'm With Her - on RCA (through a local distribution company called Piranha Brothers).

Tired Of Hiding was written by Mark Alchin while Happy I'm With Her was written by John Salway (Mark Alchin sang lead vocals on Tired of Hiding, while John Salway sang lead vocals on Happy I'm With Her).

The single did not do well as RCA did not support it and it is long since deleted. Sadly there are no other released works by The Clones although they did record several other tunes.
