Focus
Dutch instrumental quartet Focus only charted with two hit singles
in Britain, both at the end of 1972.
The biggest hit, Sylvia, featured master guitarist Jan
Akkerman, and reached the UK Top Five.
The earliest of the two hits, Hocus Pocus , featured
the curious yodelling of flautist and keyboard player, Thijs van
Leer.
