Russell Morris

Russell Morris was once managed by future Countdown svengali Ian 'Molly' Meldrum, who also produced Russell's first and biggest hit, The Real Thing in April 1969.

In 1967, a group called Somebody's Image (which featured Russell as lead singer) had an Australian Top 20 hit with a song called Hush. Nine years later Russell re-recorded Hush as a solo single and once again it became a national hit.
