Jack Good
An Oxford graduate, Jack Good was one of the first people in
Britain to realise that Rock & Roll was more than a passing fad
and probably understood more about presenting rock on TV than any
other man alive at the time. He produced the best TV music shows of
the 1950s - Six-Five
Special and Oh Boy!
- which were only bettered by his Ready
Steady Go in the 1960s.
Good then emigrated to the USA to produce Shindig and sent PJ
Proby to England in 1964.
