DVD Region Encoding
Global region codes identify specific DVDs that are compatible with
the players typically sold in that region. The majority of all current
titles play in only one specific region unless otherwise noted.
Most of the DVDs featured in our "Shop With Us" links are encoded
for either Region 1 or Region 2 only and may not work on DVD players
in other countries (unless you have a multi-region DVD player).
In the majority of cases our Region 1 DVDs ship from the US and are
shown in $US while most Region 2 DVDs ship from the UK and are shown
in £GBP. In some cases we feature "All Region" DVDs. Regardless of the
country these DVDs ship from, they will play in all DVD players.
If in doubt, please check the manual for
your DVD player before purchasing.
