The
Internet is a terrific resource for research. It contains
hundreds of thousands of web sites dedicated to millions of topics. Use
caution when searching the web, though. Anybody with access to
the Internet can post websites about topics that interest them.
These sites are not always accurate. Therefore, it also is a
good idea to learn how to evaluate web sites.
Ask your self some questions before you start. What kind of
information are you looking for? Do you want facts? Opinions? News
reports? Research studies? Analyses? Personal reflections? History?
Internet sources can be very useful, but they should not be your sole
source of information because there are also books, journals and other
publications to read. Don't forget the library!
