We'll Get By

Alan Alda (best known as Hawkeye Pierce from M*A*S*H) created this short-lived sitcom, which starred Paul Sorvino, Mitzi Hoag, Jerry Houser, Willie Aames and Devon Scott as the Platt's - a suburban New Jersey family.

The Platt's lived a normal middle-class existence in a modest middle-class home. George was a lawyer. He and his wife Liz had three teenage children.

Life in the Platt household was full of love and understanding.

The CBS comedy only ran from 14 March to 30 May in 1975.
