Ryan's Hope

Ryan's Hope was a daytime 60 minute American soap opera focusing on the Irish-American Ryan family who lived in Manhattan and ran a bar called (sensibly enough) Ryan's Bar where most of the action of the series took place.

The show won two Emmys (1977 and 1979) for best daytime drama series.
