Virgin Of The Secret Service
This comic-book style hero swash-buckled his way across early
India in the early 1900's in this mystery-shrouded series from ATV
(The series originally aired between March and June in 1968).
The wonderfully camp Dragoon Captain Robert Virgin (Clinton
Greyn) was a mixture of spy, soldier and adventurer fighting all
manner of enemies of the British Empire.
Also starring were Noel Coleman as Virgin's superior officer,
Colonel Shaw-Cumberley, Veronica Strong as Virginia Cortez,
Alexander Dore as German masterspy Karl von Brauner and John Cater
as Virgin's batman Doublett.
