Another ITV comedy from the team of Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke. Mrs Marigold Alcock (Beryl Reid) runs her late husband's business 'empire', The Alcock Group of Companies - including such highly dubious companies as Fly-by-night Tours, and the Tom O'Thimble Lucky Pixie shop -  from two seedy rooms above a Soho strip club in London.

She is aided and abetted by trusty old retainer Ernest, and former student Richard Gander (fast-rising comedy actor Richard O'Sullivan).
