After Mash

1 9 8 3 - 1 9 8 4 (USA)
30 x 30 minute episodes

The Korean War was over and the men and women of the 4077th M.A.S.H. unit had returned to civilian life. Most of them had returned to their home towns and were scattered around the United States,  but three of them; Sherman Potter, Max Klinger and Father Mulcahy , were reunited on the staff of the General Pershing Veterans Administration Hospital in River Bend, Missouri.

Potter was the chief of staff and it was through his recruiting efforts that Klinger joined the staff as his administrative assistant and Father Mulcahy as the hospital chaplain. The staff at the VA hospital also included bureaucratic, ineffectual hospital administrator Mike D'Angelo, his pushy secretary Alma, another secretary, Bonnie and a somewhat  ingenuous young surgical resident named Gene.  One of  the more memorable patients was absent-minded old-timer, Bob Scannell.

Klinger's Korean war bride, Soon-Lee, had returned with him to America and Potter's wife, Mildred, who was often talked about but never seen on M*A*S*H (except in a picture on Potter's desk in Korea) also featured in the series.

After Mash was first telecast on September 26, 1983 and last aired on December 18, 1984.
