Lift Off premiered in November 1969, and featured Long John
Baldry on the first show. Ayshea Brough was
quoted in Look In during the 1970s as saying "I'm positive
that the Americans will land on Mars in 1972". Fortunately, she
knew a lot more about pop music . . .
The exotic,
dark-haired maiden also appeared in 24 episodes of UFO,
and released several records, mostly without any real success.
Towards the end of its run, the show
was renamed Lift Off with Ayshea.
